Digital Marketing Coordinator  

Reports to:  Community Relations Director 

Job Type:  Part-time, 10 hours a week, remotely and on-site, $18/hour

Job Summary:   Mothers’ Milk Bank of North Texas is seeking a part-time creative and experienced Digital Marketing Coordinator to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our organization's mission and engages our target audience. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in social media trends, platforms and analytics, with a proven track record of successfully creating content and managing social media accounts for nonprofits or similar entities.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  2. Proven experience creating content and managing social media accounts for nonprofit organizations or similar entities.
  3. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms and trends.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling.
  6. Proficient in social media analytics tools.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation: Create compelling content in line with graphic standards for the milk bank’s Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts, including posts, stories and reels.
  2. Community Engagement: Communicate the organization’s mission and impact, fostering community among followers, supporters and partners. 
  3. Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement and support organizational goals. 
  4. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of content, providing regular reports and insights. 
  5. Flexible Work Environment: Working on-site and remotely to fulfill job responsibilities.

Requirements:  

  1. A portfolio or samples of previous creative content.
  2. Extensive knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  3. Ability to use graphics design tools on Canva, incorporating an eye for design.
  4. Videography and photography skills, including comfort in front of a camera.
  5. Proficiency creating and editing video content. 
  6. A team-player mindset.
