Program Outreach Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Programs
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours a week, on-site in Fort Worth/Benbrook, starting at $23 per hour, dependent on credentials
Job Summary: The Program Outreach Coordinator works with community organizations and hospitals to develop and maintain partnerships through education and outreach on nonprofit milk banking, use of donor milk, and breastfeeding awareness. This position reports to the Director of Programs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field required with minimum of 3-years’ experience preferred.
Responsibilities: included by not limited to the following-
- Work with Director of Programs to create continuing education and in-service presentations to educate the community and partners about nonprofit milk banking, the use of donor milk, and breastfeeding education.
- Schedule and conduct educational presentations in the community in conjunction with the Executive Director and Director of Programs.
- Work with Director of Programs to build relationships with community partners and nonprofits to advance the mission of equitable donor milk use and promoting breastfeeding in the community, with a focus on under-resourced areas.
- Outreach to/visit hospitals, OB, peds, etc. to share education materials about the milk bank to raise awareness; distribute marketing and education materials; and document contact information, notes and updates.
- Schedule and attend community and hospital events.
- Work with Community Relations Director to support internal MMBNT events, including fundraising initiatives: National Breastfeeding Month, Luncheon, North Texas Giving Day, etc.
- Assist with Depot and Donor Milk to Go program support as needed, including annual assessment support.
- Support social media initiatives by helping create compelling content for the milk bank’s Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts, including posts, stories, reels and videos, highlighting information from a public health perspective.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of content, providing regular reports and insights.
- Assist with data collection and analysis using platforms such as Tableau and Smartsheet.

Requirements:
- Must be complete and pass a background check.
- Ability and willingness to travel for in-person presentations/meetings/visits as needed in North Texas (mileage will be compensated).
- Public speaking and presentation experience.
- Excellent writing and communication skills: education material development experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with healthcare professionals, donors, visitors, and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
