Summer Volunteer Opportunity - Laboratory Volunteer

Join the Mothers' Milk Bank of North Texas as a Laboratory Volunteer and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and quality of donor human milk for medically fragile infants. Volunteer will assist with lab procedures, following strict food safety and handling guidelines. Responsibilities include supporting the pasteurization process, monitoring milk thawing, labeling and organizing donor milk, maintaining cleanliness in the lab, and assisting with clerical tasks and outreach materials.

This opportunity requires a minimum of 4-6 week commitment and is ideal for individuals interested in healthcare, nutrition, food science and safety or laboratory sciences. Gain hands-on experience in a regulated lab environment while making a meaningful impact in the community!
